Singapore Literature Prize
This biennial competition is open to Singapore citizens and Permanent Residents whose works of fiction, poetry, and creative non-fiction have been published in Singapore or abroad during specified period of time in any of Singapore’s four official languages — Chinese, English, Malay, or Tamil.
Submissions for SLP 2020 are now closed. Creators of shortlisted works will be informed in July.
S.E.A Write Award
Since 1979, the S.E.A. Write Award, or the Southeast Asian Writers Award, has been presented annually to poets and writers in Southeast Asia.
Scholastic Picture Book Award
The Scholastic Picture Book Award (SPBA) is a joint initiative between the Singapore Book Council and Scholastic Asia, and it is presented biennially to an outstanding unpublished picture book with distinct Asian themes by an Asian team of writer and illustrator.
Scholastic Asian Book Award
The Scholastic Asian Book Award (SABA) is a joint initiative between Singapore Book Council (SBC) and Scholastic Asia. To promote Asian experiences and expression in creative and innovative forms, this award recognises writers of Asian origin whose manuscripts have the potential to share uniquely Asian experiences of life, spirit, and thinking with the rest of the world.
Hedwig Anuar Children’s Book Award
The Hedwig Anuar Children’s Book Award (HABA) is presented biennially to an outstanding children’s book written by a Singapore citizen or Permanent Resident.

Anugerah Persuratan
Anugerah Persuratan merupakan usaha berterusan Majlis Bahasa Melayu Singapura (MBMS) dalam mengiktiraf para penulis yang bergiat dalam seni persuratan. MBMS telah menganjurkan acara dwitahunan ini sejak tahun 1993. Selain pengiktirafan, Anugerah ini juga meningkatkan dan memupuk perkembangan penulisan dalam kalangan penulis berbahasa Melayu, menggalakkan penerbitan karya yang bermutu dan memasyarakatkan bidang persuratan.

Golden Point Award
The Golden Point Award is Singapore’s premiere creative writing competition for unpublished short stories and poetry in the nation’s four official languages: English, Chinese, Malay, and Tamil. Established by the National Arts Council in 1993, the national literary writing competition serves as a significant platform for literary excellence and launching new writers.

Samsung KidsTime Authors’ Award
The Samsung KidsTime Authors' Award (SKTAA) is a joint initiative between the National Book Development Council of Singapore (NBDCS) and Samsung Electronics. This award seeks to turn both published and unpublished picture books from ASEAN into digital apps for the Samsung KidsTime platform, so that local and regional content in its native language can reach a much wider audience.
