为了庆祝新加坡书籍理事会成立50周年，我们将会发行特别限量新作品《情系狮城：五十年新华诗文选》。请大家踊跃出席这次的新书发布会，一同参与作家的讨论会、诗歌朗诵及音乐欣赏。

《情系狮城：五十年新华诗文选》简介
本书承载了63位诗歌作者和66位散文作者对祖国新加坡不同层面的情感。在这些作者中，有的是土生土长的新加坡作家，有的是入籍新加坡不久的新移民；有的是得奖无数的作家，有的是默默耕耘的作者；有的是学富五车的学者，有的是闲云野鹤的布衣；大部分是传统意义上的华校生，小部分是新加坡教育制度改革后的英校生；有的是著作等身的资深作家，有的是写作年龄尚浅的新秀后进。无论他们的出身背景有着多么大的不同，他们都是新加坡的子民，都有着共同的热爱新加坡之心。凭着他们对新加坡这块国土的挚爱与赤子之情，他们的文学作品一起呈现于这同一本书之中，展现在读者的眼前，形成了情系狮城超过半个世纪一次强有力的凝聚。

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Singapore Book Council, we are launching a special limited publication, Ode to Lion City: An Anthology of 50 Years of Chinese Essays and Poetry. Please join us for the book launch and enjoy an afternoon of writers' discussions, poetry reading and music.

About Ode to Lion City
This book is an anthology of 63 poems and 66 essays by Singapore writers about Singapore. These 129 writers – whether they are Singapore-born or new immigrants, Chinese-educated or English-educated, veteran or young – all share a common passion for Singapore regardless of their different backgrounds. The book reflects their love for Singapore, capturing the ties that have been formed over 50 years.
