#BUYSINGLIT Is Back: 6 - 8 and 13 - 15 March 2020

#BuySingLit 2019 was a roaring success, all thanks to your support to celebrate Singapore stories! Over two weekends in March, more than 45,000 participants took part in close to 100 events across 62 locations - making this the biggest edition of #BuySingLit to date.

We invite you to join us as a programme partner for #BuySingLit as we return next year: 6 - 8 and 13 - 15 March 2020. Come and be part of this industry-led movement where we hope to encourage the public to “buy local and read our world”. By promoting and buying local books, we are investing in our own stories and deepening our roots here. In other words, we are building and growing our home.

Download the Open Call Application package and submit a programme proposal now. Successful applicants will receive grants* for their selected proposals.

Deadline for submission is Friday, 23 August 2019, 2359 hrs.
Incomplete submissions will not be considered. Only successful applicants will be notified.

*Grant amounts vary according to proposal and guidelines.

#BuySingLit 2018
The movement ran from 9 to 11 March this year, featuring 77 programmes across the island. Close to 41,000 people joined us, taking part in a wide variety of events over three days that included book fairs, performances, authors' talks, writing workshops, exhibitions and more! #BuySingLit 2019

Be a part of the #BuySingLit movement as a programme partner, and organise an event to celebrate our Singapore stories.

#BuySingLit grows bigger in 2019, as it will spread across two weekends in March (8 – 10 and 15 – 17 March). To participate in the 2019 edition, submit a proposal for an event through the Open Call. Successful applicants will receive grants for their proposals. Click here to find out more.
